What value do electronically signed documents have ?

The electronic signature has the same legal value as the handwritten signature.
The signature itself is included in the signed document, and any subsequent modification of the document will be detected when the document is opened: a red cross indicating an error will make the problem immediately apparent.
Only electronic versions (original documents) are legally binding. This is why it is recommended to archive them in their original electronic format.

How does the electronic signature work ?

The electronic signature is carried out on presentation of the signature code received by the user at his e-mail address or by SMS to the number he has indicated, thus constituting a reliable identification process.

This signature code gives rise to the generation of an electronic certificate containing the name of the signatory, the company name of his establishment and the date of signature of the document.
