Appendix 3.A Supplier Letter HUTCHINSON

Letter to Suppliers

Subject: Anti-corruption Measures

Dear Madam, Sir

We write to you as one of the suppliers of goods or services to one, or a number of companies in the Refining and Chemicals division.
As part of the policies concerning the fight against corruption and in accordance with the Code of Conduct of the Total group, it has been decided that each new contract for materials or for goods and services will, from now on, include a clause by which the supplier undertakes to acquaint itself with and to comply with, and to cause its subcontractors (if any), to comply with certain provisions regarding anti-corruption.
These provisions are set out in an attachment entitled “Anti-Corruption Undertakings” that you will find enclosed and which will be incorporated into every new contract.
In the meantime, we are kindly requiring all of our suppliers to acquaint themselves with this clause and comply with its obligations, and to cause its personnel and its sub-contractors (if any) to also comply.
We trust that we can count on your co-operation in this regard.

Yours sincerely,

Supplier Manual HES PUR P18_08 HUTCHINSON _EN

Subject: Suppliers Manual

Sir, Madam,

The HUTCHINSON Group aims to achieve excellence so as to make deliveries to its clients under the best possible Quality, Cost, Deadline and Innovation conditions. This goal applies to all of our business sectors: aeronautics, automotive and industry.

To reach our excellent objectives and best meet our clients’ needs, the entire supply chain must be involved and we expect our suppliers to actively participate in this process.

Our desire to involve suppliers in this process translates into the requirements set forth in this quality manual. Our suppliers are fully responsible for the quality of their products and services. We expect that they use excellence policies to reach the zero issue goal.

The requirements set forth in this manual are not, in any case, restrictions on the current standards (IATF 16949, AS 9100, etc.). They are a sort of supplement to them.

Also, the depository of up-to-date quality and environmental certificates as well as the signed FPP are a decisive criterion for the completion of our annual QCDI rating. In the absence of up-to-date and accurate information, the Supplier is liable to have its QCDI rating degraded.

In case of questions, please address to your usual purchasing or purchasing quality contacts.
